The Coolest Wine Getaway

The blissful sandy beaches, idyllic countryside, and hip culinary scene make "The County" one of the coolest wine regions out there.

The region's cool temperatures and classic limestone-based soils give winemakers a unique environment to craft wines that clearly demonstrate a sense of place. Look out over the serene acres of vineyards and enjoy inspired cuisine and distinctive wines that are the epitome of cool-climate winemaking.*

Maison Muscote is situated on Prince Edward County's "Taste Trail" for easy access to the 19 wineries available to visit.

If wine is not your thing, there are also many breweries and cideries to explore across The County. Ask us for our favourites, we'd be happy to help you with recommendations!

Beaches and Parks

There are over a dozen conservation areas and three provincial parks throughout the County, providing photographic opportunities, cross-country skiing, picnic areas, restored historical sites, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, birdwatching, and more year-round fun.

Swim and surf at Sandbanks Provincial Park, which is among the largest and most beautiful beaches in Ontario. The Sandbanks and North Beach parks are ideal for boating, small-craft sailing, sun-lounging, and watersports.

While Sandbanks Provincial Park is The County’s marquee attraction, there are several other beautiful provincial parks and conservation areas well worth a day trip, including North Beach Provincial Park, located between Consecon and Wellington, with the same soft, sandy beaches and clear, turquoise waters as Sandbanks.*
